Picture this: a quiet morning in 1961, Eagle River, Wisconsin, when Joe, a humble plumber and chicken farmer on the side, witnesses a shiny saucer land in his yard. Out steps beings from beyond, not with laser guns or cryptic messages, but with a craving for water and an offer of pancakes cooked on a flameless griddle. This story has it all: interstellar diplomacy over breakfast, a government analysis of cosmic cuisine, and the enduring mystery of why aliens might traverse the vastness of space to share their version of our morning favorites. Buckle up as we dive into one of the most appetizing alien encounters in history, serving up a story so strange it just might be true. PLUS- We finally find out what Conspiracy Bot's C.H.U.D. does, and it brings with it some old "friends" of the show. So, get ready to be whisked away on an adventure that's out of this world on Hysteria 51!

Podcaster
Kevin Crispin is a Mental Health Advocate, Podcaster, Public Speaker, Actor, and Writer. As someone who has suffered from severe anxiety, Kevin uses his life experiences to shed a light on Mental Health as well as work to connect people through kindness, humor, and empathy. He is the host of the weekly podcast Sad Times.
Each week on Sad Times, he has a kind and generous guest who comes on and tells difficult stories from their lives. He believes that difficult stories are universal, but are not universally told. To be aware of our own fear and anxiety and depression can allow us room for the grace and kindness to understand that our fellow humans are dealing with a version of the exact same thing.
He believes each of us is a collection of stories, and that stories are the great healing currency of humankind: the more we hear, the more we heal.
He believes in kindness, he believes in humor, he runs from tornado sirens.

A Human
Former Host
John has been an audio nerd since birth. It is said he came out of the womb with earbuds on (ok, they were Walkman headphones). His passion for audio storytelling and the business side of the…business manifests in both his career and his hobbies. His day job is in the podcast world where he’s led podcast monetization strategy for major media companies, headed audience growth for some of the largest shows in the ecosystem, and even built and led sales teams. Currently he’s the Chief Revenue Officer at Magellan AI. His night job however, is where his creativity shines. He co-founded, and is the former co-host and co-writer of Hysteria 51 while concurrently working on other projects. His spare time is spent with his wife, Stacy, two kids (who really like the park and Korean food), rooting for the Detroit Lions (it’s a punishing hobby), boxing (less punishing than being a Lions fan), and writing (he’s penned 1 ½ books he swears will never see the light of day).
